WHAT DID THE TEACHERS THINK?

    The school board thought that the students were wearing the

braclets would be a distraction in school. they thought the

armbands were "inapropriate" for school. Bill J. Bond, a principal

in Paducah, Ky said, "Principals are a lot like judges in a small

way, we have policies and then have to interpret what the

policies mean."  The teachers thought they would cause a

distraction to school work.
